April - Jungshin Electronics Industrial Company, Ltd. was founded at Siheung-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, Korea

April - Second factory was built at Jung-dong, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do.

May - Third factory was built at Jinwol-dong, Seo-gu, Gwanggju City.Registered as subcontractor of Daewoo Electronics.

November - Third factory was expanded and moved to 777-1 Sungsan-ri, Jangsung-up, Jangsung-gun, Junlanam-do, Republic of Korea (Floor space 1,065 §³).

August - Jungshin became an incorporated company with capital of 50 million won and Lee Gyu-seol as first president.
December - capital was increased to 150 million won.

May - Factory was expanded with new equipment and facilities on a site of 3,429 m2 and floor space of 1,365 §³.
June - ISO 9002 certification - Our washing machine print circuit board assembly was certified by Korea Management Association Quality Certification Center.

December - 100PPM quality certified by Small and Medium Business Administration.

April - Capital increased to 350 million won.

July - Started to develop SafeZone HandsFree.
November - SafeZone HandsFree placed on the market.

April - Seoul Branch Office opened at Galwol-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
August - Factory expanded on a site of 970 §³ with floor space of 546 §³.
